L´Aurora Grup de Suport, together with the international organisation Sea Eye, is setting up a response system to the serious consequences of DANA, which has hit the south of Valencia. In these days of intense action, we are working with the local community to create solidarity networks that will respond effectively and autonomously to this emergency. Our goal is more than an immediate response: we want to create a sustainable and replicable model that actively involves the people affected in rebuilding their communities.
To maximise the impact of our work, we have partnered with the Mundo 21 Foundation, using their infrastructure to manage financial donations efficiently and transparently. In addition, 5% of each contribution will be allocated to their “Nobody Without the Daily Ration Headquarters” project, an initiative that guarantees people access to adequate and dignified food. This project transforms donations into cards for individual purchases, avoiding stigmatisation and promoting sustainable and personalised food.
